Flight attendant discovered dead in bathtub in Makati City hotel


A flight attendant was found lifeless in a bathtub inside a hotel in Makati City on Saturday afternoon, January 2, 2021, a belated police report showed.

Makati Police identified the victim as Angelica Dacera, 23, a cabin crew, of General Santos City.

Based on the initial investigation of the police, a friend of the victim, Rommel Galida, found her lifeless in the bathtub of their room in City Garden Hotel in Barangay Poblacion, Makati around 12:30 p.m.

Galida reportedly told their other friends--- Gregorio Angelo, Rafael de Guzman, and John Dela Serna--- about what happened to Dacera.

“Mr. Galida informed their friends Mr. Gregorio Angelo Rafael de Guzman and Mr. John Dela Serna who immediately called the management of City Garden Grand Hotel who brought Ms. Dacera to their clinic,” the police report stated.

Police said Peter Paul Ponongcos, security chief of the said hotel, conducted Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation or CPR to Dacera but failed.

He then reportedly examined Dacera with the absence of pulse and no sign of life.

The hotel management requested a rescue team from Barangay Poblacion but to no avail, hence, they decided to bring Ms. Dacera to a hospital but she was already dead.

Police said they body of the victim is still at the Rizal Funeral Homes in Pasay City for autopsy to determine her cause of death.
