Scottish businessman Jeremy Jauncey took to Instagram on Jan. 1, 2021 to share a throwback photo of his first date with girlfriend Pia Wurtzbach taken on Dec. 31, 2019.

Pia and Jeremy are abroad celebrating their first anniversary as sweethearts.

"December 31st is always a special day for me, not only is it the last day of the year - a chance to reflect and remember all the things that happened but it’s also our anniversary.

"This photo is from 12 months ago today, drinking from a coconut and talking about how much we wanted to achieve in the coming year. Since our very first date we’ve always talked about everything - getting lost in conversation, laughing & joking with each other and although most of the plans we made for 2020 didn’t happen, I can look back on the year happy & hopeful for what’s to come in 2021. There have been a load of personal & professional challenges for me, Pia, our businesses, our friends and our family but we got through them, wiser & stronger.
