Sunshine Cruz quashes report of her supposed death

Sunshine Cruz was quick to denounce news she has died.

She posted on Facebook, “Hindi po ito totoo! Buhay na buhay po ako.”

The actress also urged followers to report the account of those responsible for the faux news, Rbb Savage, which identified itself as a buy-and-sell group based in Novaliches.

Rbb Savage posted, “Sunshine Cruz natagpuang patay at walang saplot sa loob ng kwarto. Inaalam pa ng mga pulis kung sino ang suspek. Sana mabigyan ng hustisya ang kanyang pagkamatay.”

In a seeming effort to add credence to the tall tale, it added:

“Mga CCTV footage bago mangyari ang krimen nilabas ng NBI.”

It then prodded followers to watch a supposed video of the incident.

“Panoorin niyo po ang video sa profile ko, Rest in Peace Sunshine Cruz.”

The accompanying photo is a purported screen grab of a report on the same by “Unang Balita,” with a man kneeling in front of a body bag and the actress’ face placed on the upper left-hand side.
