Bugoy Cariño introduces daughter with EJ Laure

After almost two years of relative silence, former child star Bugoy Cariño has finally revealed he has a daughter with volleyball star EJ Laure.

In time for his 18^th birthday, Cariño posted a photo on social media of him with Laure and their daughter.

"Happy to have a family na mahal na mahal ako. Pagsisikapan ko pong itaguyod ang blessing na ito. Thank you for your unending support and I love you both, Mommy EJ and Baby Scarlet!!" he wrote.

Laure, on her part, posted a separate message for Cariño: “Happy birthday, Mahal thank you sa lahat ng ginawa at ginagawa mo para sa amin ni baby Scarlet. We love you so much, daddy!”

Rumors of Laure's pregnancy surfaced back in 2018, something which the former captain of the UST Golden Tigresses denied.

In an interview, she maintained the speculation was false, stressing she missed UAAP league duties simply due to a shoulder injury.

"Hindi naman totoo 'yung sinasabi nila.(Pero) nasa kanila na lang 'yun, kung ano ang gusto nilang sabihin. Kasi siyempre, tao din naman sila, may sarili silang opinyon," Laure said then.
