'See you after two months': Emotional notes from PBA wives and girlfriends as Clark bubble begins

The wives and girlfriends of PBA players turned to social media to wish their loved ones the best of luck as they enter a two-month tournament bubble in Clark, Pampanga.

Volleyball star Alyssa Valdez bid goodbye to boyfriend Kiefer Ravena of NLEX in a post on Instagram.

“I hate to say this but I hope to see you after two months. Good luck and enjoy the PBA bubble, babe,” Valdez wrote, accompanied by a picture of her and Ravena.

Model and host Laura Lehmann also wished her fiancé Von Pessumal of the San Miguel Beermen a good luck in an Instagram post.

“The house will be so quiet without our rowdiest animal. See you this Christmas my love (I hope!!) Enjoy the PBA bubble, stay safe and have the best time playing the game you love,” said Lehmann in a picture of her, Pessumal and their three pets.

Keisha Ancheta, partner of Rain or Shine’s Rey Nambatac, also shared it would be the first time that she would be celebrating her birthday without him.

“Hirap pala tagala magkaron ng partner na basketball player… Good luck three points stingrey may kasama pang foul. I love you!” Ancheta posted on her Facebook account along with a picture of her and Nambatac.

Russelle Barroca also shared a family picture on Facebook with a message to her husband, Magnolia Hotshots Mark Barroca, and the rest of the players that will stay at the bubble.

“We love you so much. Please take care and praying for everyone’s safety. We can’t wait to watch you play and cheer for the team," she posted.

Teams have already arrived in Clark as tournament fires off on Oct. 11.
