Marian Rivera to make stage debut in Tanghalang Ateneo

Kapuso star Marian Rivera will debut as a stage actress as she joins the cast of an upcoming play by Tanghalang Ateneo.

Rivera will be part of Tanghalang Ateneo's adaptation of "Oedipus Rex."
This was announced by writer and director Katski Flores on Instagram.

"This is a launching pad. Welcome to the tribe, Marian Rivera! Enjoy and stay, will you?" said Flores.

Rivera replied in the comments section: "Maraming salamat po."

Yan Yuzon will play the lead role in "Oedipus Rex. Other talents in the cast include Miren Alvarez-Fabregas, Gabe Marcado, and Marlon Rivera. It will be directed by Ron Capinding.

No details were given as to the playdate of the stage play.
