President Duterte, Angel Locsin top 'PH most admired' list for 2020

President Duterte and actress-philanthropist Angel Locsin are the most admired man and woman in the Philippines in 2020.

In the survey, Duterte garnered 19.67 percent score while Locsin got 15.03 percent. This is the second year in a row that both personalities topped the "admiration" list.

Also in the top 10 of the list are Filipino personalities Manny Pacquiao, Isko Moreno, Catriona Gray, Sarah Geronimo, and Liza Soberano.

According to the official website of YouGov - a British international Internet-based market research and data analytics firm, headquartered in the UK, with operations in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific - the numbers show the percentage share of admiration for each person in 42 countries and regions worldwide.

This year's survey is the "largest ever" for the private group with more than 45,000 people in 42 countries and territories being interviewed to compile the list.

"Entertainers dominate the female list, with 12 of the most admired women being actresses, singers or TV presenters (although some, like Emma Watson and Angelina Jolie, are also notable for their humanitarian work). By contrast, the list of most admired men contains more people from political, business and sporting backgrounds," the website read.

"The results are calculated from the combination of responses to two questions – whether a respondent admires the figure at all and then whether they are the figure the respondent admires the most. Each nation's results in the global compilation are also weighted to represent the country's population size."
