Gerald Santos prepares for virtual concert

The Prince of Ballad Gerald Santos performs in a virtual concert dubbed "The Great Shift" on Oct. 17 at 9 p.m.

Broadway star Lea Salonga leads guests during the virtual show. Other special guests include international Filipino baritone Andrew Fernando, Miss Saigon star Joreen Bautista, and Asia's Best Singing Competition Grand Winner Elisha Pontanares.

"The Great Shift" is expected to showcase the talent of Santos in musical numbers ranging from OPM ballads to Broadway songs.

Santos, 29, is a former champion of "Pinoy Pop Superstar" Season 2 of GMA 7. He played Thuy in the Miss Saigon UK/International Tour 2017–19 by Cameron Mackintosh.

The concert is for the benefit of Artists Welfare Project Inc. and Good Samaritan Foundation of the Mary Mediatrix Medical Center. Tickets can be booked at ticket2me.net.
