Coleen and Billy share significant meaning of their first child's name

Just like any father and mother, first-time parents Coleen Garcia and Billy Crawford have put an effort to research a name for their first child, Amari Jaden.

Speaking with Vice Ganda, the two former "It's Showtime" hosts talked about the meaning behind those names.

According to Billy, Amari has been in his mind and with an unexplainable reason, it warms his heart hearing that name.

“Matagal na sa ulo ko ang Amari. Sabi ko nga sa kanya (Coleen), before pa, na kapag nagkaroon kami ng lalaki gusto ko ipangalan Amari. Ni-research ko yung pangalan. Kapag babae, promised by God. Kapag lalaki naman, it means strength,” he shared.

Meanwhile, Coleen related that Jaden means "thankful" which indeed defines their feeling as they welcomed their firstborn into this world.

“Gusto namin na habang tumatanda siya, maalala niya na at this moment, ito yung pinaka-thankful talaga namin kasi sobra sobra, halos araw-araw umiiyak kami,” she related.

Recall that early this month when the two officially became a parent.

On the other hand, becoming a mother made Coleen appreciate the significance of her birthday, which also falls on the same month as her son's.

Coleen and Billy tied the knot in a beach wedding in 2018.
