Wise's YSS propels Onic PH over BSB

Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario displayed his mastery of Yi Sun-shin as Onic PH battered BSB in two games to inch closer to the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Pro League-Philippines (MPL) PH Season 6 playoffs on Saturday night.

The last season’s runner-up moved a sweep away from grabbing a playoff berth with 15 points at No. 3 in Group B.

Onic's victory also pushed Bren Esports (20 points) to the playoffs.

Wise maximized the space given to him by the team, farming all over their side of the map to secure his damage-dealing items.

A free farm paired with the scouting of YSS’ ultimate skill Mountain Shocker, Wise decimated BSB’s heroes one-by-one as he dealt more than 70,000 damage and recorded a 9-0-5 KDA in an 18-4 stomp.

Jason Rafael “Jay” Torculas also starred on his Chou, playing the perfect disruptor as he finished with 10 assists.

Wise was still the man of the hour in Game 2 with his Yi Sun-shin, dishing out more than 77,000 damage and racking up nine kills and five assists again with only one death.

Team captain Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna’s Luo Yi provided heavy magic damage as well en route to 14 assists and five kills against two deaths.

BSB remained at the bottom of the group with only six points.

The MPL PH Week 6 will conclude with a triple-header starting with a face off between Blacklist International and BSB at 4:30 p.m. Bren Esports will square off against Nexplay Solid at 6 p.m. while Onic will take on Execration at 7:30 p.m
