TNC falls to BTS Pro Series lower bracket

Filipino powerhouse team TNC Predator slipped to the lower bracket of the BTS Pro Series Season 3: Southeast Asia after suffering a 0-2 sweep against Indonesian rival BOOM Esports. 

TNC was unable to get its rhythm going in the best-of-three series opener as BOOM utilized a heavy crowd control lineup led by Saieful “Fbz” Ilham’s Tidehunter and Rafli Fathur “Mikoto” Rahman’s Windrager. 

Mikoto came through with a 10-2-9 KDA record while Randy Muhammad “Dreamocel” Sapoetra on his Spectre notched nine kills and 12 assists with zero deaths, powering BOOM’s 27-8 stomp in nearly 35 minutes.

Fbz’s Tidehunter proved to be a crucial cog anew in Game Two, posting 21 assists en route to a 32-10 lopsided victory in just 30 minutes.

TNC will take on Malaysian squad New Esports in the lower bracket round 2 later at 7 p.m., following the game between PH’s Neon Esports and Thailand’s Motivade.Trust Gaming.  

BOOM will face Carlo “Kuku” Palad’s red-hot Among Us squad in the upper bracket finals tomorrow. 

Among Us, a rag-tag team composed of Kuku, fellow Filipino star Abed “Abed” Yusop, Thai players Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon and Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong, and Indonesian bet Matthew “Whitemon” Filemon, took down Motivade, 2-1, in the playoff opener yesterday.
