Sherilyn Reyes reveals they were scammed
And defends son Ryle from bashers
What would you do if your son gets bashed? Emotional Sherilyn Reyes handled it with humility as she posted in her Instagram account a screenshot of someone who tagged her son Ryle, tweeting “Naka shades ka pa kanina (You were wearing shades). Papansin, akala mo sikat ka (Seeking attention, you think you’re famous). Tulungan mo na lang nanay mo maglako ng Beautderm (Why don’t you just help your mom sell her Beautderm products).”
Sherilyn starts her post by reminding the one who tweeted not to judge people because you don’t know what they are going through. She continues by saying that they are blessed to have projects at this time and that their family has been going through financial strain. “Sa kasamaang palad, na swindle ako last year (Unfortunatley, I was swindled last year). Masaklap pero buong pamilya ko ay lumalaban araw araw at gumagapang para mabayaran ang utang na di naman amin (Our family tried our best to find means to pay off the debt that wasn’t ours in the first place). Pera na-itakbo ng iba, pera na sana ay magiging seguridad ng mga anak ko sa kanilang kinabukasan (It was money that was taken away by somebody else, money that was for the security of our children’s future),” she shares, adding that it’s been hard to keep smiling but she tries her best to keep spirits up at home. “Na araw araw, kulang na lang isigaw mo ang dasal mong sana matapos na ang problemang hindi naman dapat sa 'yo pero dahil maayos kang tao, inaako mo at ng pamilya mo (Every day, if I could only shout out my prayers, hoping that this problem which isn’t ours in the first place will end). Na araw araw pinagpapasalamat mo na ang asawa mo ay nagpapakumbaba sa mga tao para makiusap dahil kayo ay naloko sa negosyo (Every day, you thank your husband for being humble enough to ask for patience from others because we got swindled in our business venture.”
As to her Beautederm business, Sherilyn is proud to share that she has over 1,000 ambassadors and sellers who earn a respectable living. “At lagi kong sinasabi, isang napakalaking biyaya ang meron oportunidad na ganito, isang Beautederm, maayos na negosyo na malaking tulong sa amin lalo na ngayon (As I always say, Beautederm is one big blessing and opportunity—it’s a business that has been a big help for us, especially at this time.”
