Rhian Ramos defends self from eating disorder gossip

Rhian Ramos has defended herself from critics who assumed she's experiencing anorexia nervosa, an eating disorder characterized by an abnormally low body weight.

In an interview with GMA 7, Rhian said that her low body weight is caused by stress during the pandemic.

"Of course not," Rhian, 29, replied when asked if she has an eating disorder.

"In fact, pag nakatingin ako sa salamin alam ko (na mapayat na ako), nakikita ko kung anong itsura ko. (But) It's not like I'm trying to lose weight because I feel big, no. Kasi iniisip talaga ng tao na nag-diet ako or nag-cardio ako para pumayat ng ganito pero 'yung totoo lang talaga, it's out of stress," she explained.
