The institution concluded its 50th anniversary celebration with a lights and sound show

The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) ended itssemi-centennial anniversary with a video mapping show flashed on its façade, as well as a lights and sound presentation.
The brief show featured photos and intricate designs projected on the CCP Main Theater building accompanied by a song from national artist for music, Ryan Cayabyab, co-written by Myran Etorsa. The piece was performed by the Philippine Madrigal Singers with Lara Maigue, Poppert Bernadas, and the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra. There was also a dancing fountain display.
Manila-based projection designer, GA Fallarme, headed the spectacle program called Pagdiwang sa Ginintuang Pagsilang. “Extremely honored for the opportunity and incredibly grateful for the work, tagal ko na nakatunganga sa bahay(I was stuck at home doing nothing for a long time). Fortunate to have worked on the opening gala and now the closing of CCP’s 50th anniversary,” says Fallarme.
The creative and art director, in a Facebook post, thanked the CCP team led by Chris Millado, Ariel Yonzon, Ricardo Eric Gabat Cruz, and Renee Angela Magcamit Manay. He also thanked those who will hire him for future projects.
“Nakaka-miss din pala ma-stress sa work (I missed the work stress). Pero ‘di na ko sanay mag-puyat (Although I am no longer used to staying up late). Nakakapagod ang lockdown (The lockdown alone is tiring),” explains Fallarme.
