Pia Wurtzbach, Pianatics to spread cheer to abandoned seniors
It's that time of the year when Pianatics would come together to celebrate the birth anniversary of Pia Wurtzbach.
The 2015 Miss Universe, who turns 31 on Sept. 24, would usually throw a big party for her followers as as soon as she arrives from a vacation abroad.
They would also raise funds for Home for the Aged, a place for abandoned and poor seniors.
It's a different case this year. There will be no big party but Pia and her supporters will still raise funds for charity.
On Instagram Sept. 22, Wurtzbach lauded members of Pianatics for their act of kindness.

"Tuwing birthday ko nagsasama sama ang mga Pianatics para pumunta sa home for the aged. They have been continually doing this since 2016 and Im so proud of this act of kindness they do every year. Hindi ko ito idea, sila lang ang nakaisip na gawin to at sobrang saya ko na tinutuloy parin nila kahit 5 years na ang nakalipas since nanalo ako sa Miss U. They really have big hearts â¤ï¸? Tuwing birthday ko kasi usually umaalis ako para magpahinga at makasama family ko. Tapos pag uwi ko doon ako babawi sa kanila at mag paparty kami, yung big Pianatics party na ginagawa namin;
"This year syempre nagiba na ang panahon, di na kami makakagawa ng malalaking gatherings.. pero ang saya ko na tuloy parin yung yearly charity event nila. Syempre kahit na di ko sila nakakasama ng personal, nagbibigay parin ako ng support para sa mga pagkain at ipapamigay na donations. Open din kami sa tulong at donations nyo. Lahat ng macocollect namin 100% napupunta sa home for the aged. If youre interested in helping out, please message @pianatics and we will send you the information on how to collect your in-kind donations. So kung may extra kayo dyan na magagamit ng elderly, please let us know!;
"Maraming maraming salamat sa mahal kong Pianatics na every year talagang tumutulong at nagbibigay saya, hindi lang sakin pero pati sa iba."
