Jay Sonza apologizes to Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson over pregnancy blooper

Former talk show host and broadcaster Jay Sonza has apologized to Kapamilya stars Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto whom he earlier reported as expecting their first child together.

"Sorry if my congratulations are early. I'll just put my gift to them aside," said Sonza on Facebook Sept. 22.

It was Sonza who started the rumor.

“Congratulations sa aking kapitbahay sa Congressional Village, Bahay Toro, Quezon City. Napatunayan nina Visoy (Visayan tisoy) Gerald Anderson at anak nina Dennis Padilla at Marjorie na si Julia Barreto na kapuwa hindi sila baog. After months of love lockdown and ESQ (exact sex quadrant) – may nabuo sa sinapupunan ni Julia,” said Sonza on Sept. 21.

Baretto was quick to deny speculation showing off her toned abs on Instagram.
