Jose Mari Chan tries hand at TikTok, to lead star-studded TV special

“Christmas In Our Hearts” crooner and OPM icon Jose Mari Chan is on social media platform some people least expected to find him.

“I have many surprises for everyone,” said the 70-something singer on an online event, Sept. 1. “Starting today, for example, I will have my own TikTok account where you can follow me. Watch for my BTS posts and sing along with me.”

He added: “O, di ba? I’m also cool and updated, still very much young at heart.”

His TikTok account is @MrJoseMariChan where users can also get an exclusive look at his mini vlogs, dance videos, and more.

On Sept. 9, Jose Mari will lead a TV special also featuring Catriona Gray, Ai Ai delas Alas, Rhian Ramos, Gabbi Garcia, Lani Misalucha, Christian Bautista, Marcelito Pomoy and Rayver Cruz.

Jose Mari remains among Shopee brand ambassadors. The company will hold the Super Shopping Day on Sept. 9. Other events to look forward to are Super Flash Sale Day on Sept. 2 with free shipping on flash deals as low as P99 happening 12 times within the day; Super Games Day on Sept. 7 with an upgraded coin pool worth P1,000,000 for all Shopee Games; and Super Vouchers Day on Sept. 8 with over P9,900 worth of vouchers to be given away.
