Belmont Hotel Boracay rolls out E-Concierge app so you can 'skip the line'

Taking a step toward an enjoyable, safe, and accessible experience, Belmont Hotel Boracay, a six-story seaside haven impeccably landmarked in the heart of Boracay Newcoast, is introducing “E-Concierge,” a mobile application that allows guests to control how they engage with the hotel services and interact with the hotel’s associates in the new reality.

Traditionally, hospitality has been a conservative industry when it comes to technology. More emphasis has been placed on face-to-face interactions between staff and guests. Covid-19 is changing all that, but with the use of the Megaworld Hotels E-Concierge app, guests may now check in online seven days prior to their reservation and completely skip the line at the front desk to avoid contact with other guests. Hotel services information, restaurant and spa reservations, as well as cashless transactions can also be accessed via mobile app, eliminating the need to speak directly with the concierge or front desk attendant.

This digitalization is also cultivating a high tech—not high touch—stay where travelers control their experiences and room environments without risking social interaction.
