Fans suggest possible replacements as Marian Rivera backs out of 'First Yaya'

It is obvious that fans are getting rather more determined in their refusal to become mere spectators, involving themselves in anything and everything relating their movie and TV idols, making their opinions heard particularly on social media.

Just recently, they came out in droves to suggest possible replacements for Marian Rivera as lead star of “First Yaya,” a new GMA-7 teleserye.

Rivera declined to participate in the show balking at the possibility of being away from her kids for some time due to the proposed lock-in taping for the same.

The 36-year-old is mother to Zia, 3, and Ziggy, 1.

In any case, fans are now pushing for their own idols to star in the series.

Among names that cropped up are those of Maine Mendoza, Glaiza de Castro, Sanya Lopez and Andrea Torres.

It is not known yet if GMA-7 would heed any of their suggestions.
