Members of the Regional Task Force against Covid-19 One Caraga Shield (RTF-COCS), together with Butuan City Mayor Engr. Ronnie Vicente C. Lagnada, convened on Thursday to finalize the implementation of the proposed granular lockdown, particularly in areas with a high incidence of COVID-19.
The city government of Butuan is set to procure some 30,000 testing kits for COVID-19.
The city government is also eyeing the testing kits produced by the University of the Philippines.
Preparations are underway to fully implement the zonal containment strategy in Butuan as Lagnada appealed for the residents’ full cooperation.
