Pia Wurtzbach shares lessons learned during quarantine

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach recently shared that community quarantine is making her more appreciative of life in general.

Wurtzbach believes for the past years, she has been taking some of the small details in the world for granted.

"I'm a city girl and I love the fast-paced lifestyle. I got used to living in cities with tall buildings and I have to admit, I was never really crazy about sunsets, sunrises, or anything with a view. Parang sakin kasi araw araw namang nangyayari yan so bakit ko tititigan? Pero nitong quaratine parang sobrang naappreciate ko na sya. Ngayon naiintindihan ko na," she said.

The 30-year-old beauty queen-model shared that now she has learned to be more grateful.

"Na-appreciate ko na mag hiking, na-appreciate ko na yung feeling ng araw sa mukha ko, yung pag lubog ng araw, paglalangoy sa dagat (kahit na di naman ako marunong lumangoy) basta LAHAT," she maintained. "Yung nature sobrang na-appreciate ko na at naiintindihan ko na kung ano yung nakikita ng ibang tao sa kanya."

She pointed out how those little things helped ease her anxieties. "Sobrang stress reliever pala talaga nya. Alam kong napaka swerte ko na maexperience ito kaya sobrang grateful ako. May mga magandang naituro rin pala itong covid sakin like going back to basics. Iba na tingin ko sa mga sunsets ngayon. Ayun. Wala lang, shinare ko lang. Haha."
