Michael de Mesa and wife celebrate wedding anniversary with cheesy message for each other

Love is in the air as the 60-year-old veteran actor Michael de Mesa and his wife, Julie, marked their ninth year wedding anniversary.

Yesterday, he noted how Sept. 10 is a "very special date" for both of them.

"The day we made that life time commitment with each other," he said.

Then he extended his gratitude to his longtime partner for "loving" him.

"As I have said before, I will do my very best to make you the happiest woman on earth. You deserve nothing less. Happy wedding anniversary Hana. I love you very much @julie_eigenmann."

Meanwhile, Julie, on her part, did some effort by collating their photos through the years in one clip.

She admitted "ugly crying" while editing the video.

"MARRIAGE is not something I (or anyone) can DIY. Everyday, we just show up for each other," she wrote, relating that what people don't see on social media is them "fighting, crying, talking it out, and making up."

"Who would want to document that? *sigh...," she added.

Julie then shared how it took them years to achieve a "healthy relationship." "And we continue to work on ourselves and our relationship on a daily basis. Such is MARRIED LIFE," she wrote. "Here’s to more days of DANCING, pranking, being SILLY, and taking STUPID VIDEOS. At least one thing is for sure ... we will NEVER be boring."
