Luchi Cruz-Valdes joins talk show circuit

Broadcaster Luchi Cruz-Valdes hosts lifestyle program “Usapang Real Life with Luchi.” Known for her investigative reports, viewers now get to see another side of Luchi, one who is lighthearted, nurturing, and compassionate. This side of her allows her to connect to her guests, bringing out close and personal stories of celebrities. “Usapang Real Life with Luchi” also showcases ordinary Filipinos and encourages them to share their stories to illustrate that all of us, the famous and the homespun, go through the same struggles, the same challenges, the same acts of courage, and compassion for each other. On the talk show, Luchi opens up about little known facts of her life. For instance, she’s a devoted mother of three and a widow, and an avid fan of Korean dramas. She likewise has her personal viewpoints on the issues of the day, as well as trendy topics and concerns that people talk about from life in the province and mental health, to married life and advocacies. Some celebrities who’ve appeared on the show are KC Concepcion, Karen Davila, Jane De Leon, Alessandra de Rossi, Emman Nimedez, and Catriona Gray. “Usapang Real Life with Luchi” airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. on TV5, with replays on Sundays, 7 p.m., on Colours, available on Cignal TV CH. 202 HD & 60 SD.
