Ronnie Liang shows soft spot for LSIs

In carrying out his duties as army reservist, Ronnie Liang has seen the struggles of locally stranded individuals (LSIs) first-hand that’s why he has taken the initiative to help them.

Last week, the “Ngiti” singer helped distribute free plane tickets to selected families stranded at the Rizal Stadium and Army Gymnasium. He also sang to the frontliners to boost their morale, including his latest release “Awit Kawal” that’s dedicated to soldiers killed by Sulu cops.

Ronnie encourages people to set aside differences and unite

“More than an army reservist, I am a concerned Filipino kaya gusto ko talagang makatulong,” he said in a statement sent to Bulletin Entertainment. “I want to help and serve people---that’s my purpose.”

As he always does, Ronnie encourages everyone to set aside differences and unite.

“Malalampasan natin lahat ito basta may respeto sa isa’t isa,” he said.

Admitting he has a soft heart for people in need, seeing the LSIs broke Ronnie’s heart “kaya doble-doble rin ang ating pagtulong.”

No wonder this guy continues to be blessed. Aside from the resumption of the shoot for his upcoming movie “Harang,” he will soon announce his new venture as entrepreneur.

“It’s a wellness center business,” he said. “Sa panahon ngayon, we need to take care of ourselves even more kaya it’s important to go for healthy living.”
