Two PH contestants receive four-chair turns on 'The Voice Kids' UK

Aspiring Pinoy singers have been dominating "The Voice Kids" in the United Kingdom for consecutive weeks now.

Two teens, namely Justine Afante and Joshua Regala, even got respective four-chair turns during their blind audition.

In week two of the franchised TV talent show junior version, Joshua snatched the hearts of judges will.i.am, Paloma Faith, Danny Jones, and Pixie Lott with his rendition of Calum Scott's "You Are The Reason." In less than 30 seconds, Paloma was already impressed with the artist's voice that she immediately pushed the button to select the artist for her team, then Pixie followed right away while will.i.am did so in the middle of the song. Danny turned his chair right before the song ended.

Meanwhile, the 13-year-old Justine, who is based in Swansea, Wales, received a standing ovation from judges sans will.i.am, after the former sang an emotional performance of “Never Enough” from the movie "The Greatest Showman."

In the end, Joshua, who is from County Meath, Ireland, picked Pixie as his coach as did Justine. The two will proceed to the Battle Rounds where they'll be joining their kababayans Victoria Alsina and Jarren Garcia.

Recall that in the first week of "The Voice Kids UK," Alsina swayed will.i.am with her cute version of "How Far I'll Go" from the movie "Moana." In the recent episode, Jarren sang Billy Joel’s “Just The Way You Are” and he is now part of Danny's family.
