Diego Loyzaga back after two-year hiatus


Controversial actor Diego Loyzaga is back on track.

Viva Artists Agency, his new talent agency, announced the actor son of Cesar Montano and Teresa Loyzaga will star in a new movie opposite fellow Viva artist, AJ Raval.

The project's working title is "Loving Christine."

It will be directed by Yam Laranas, who is known for "Aurora," "The Road," "The Echo," and "Abomination."

Diego was last seen on the big screen via the comedy film “Petmalu” in 2018.

The 25-year-old took a break from the limelight due to personal struggles.

Now that he’s back, Diego said fans can expect more from him.

“This time around, I really want to focus on the craft, my acting,” he said in an online press conference. “I want to have a lot of movies under my belt. This time around, I want the public to watch me in a lot of movies.”

These include sexy, mature roles.

He added, "Whatever the script calls for, I’m ready to do it.”
