Filipino rapper drops song in tribute of Kobe Bryant

Filipino rapper Third Flo dropped "Mentalidad ng Mamba" right in time for Mamba Week.

The track, which features R&B artist Gfab, was released on Kobe Bryant's birthday Saturday.

According to a report by SPIN Life, Third Flo has been working on the song since news on Bryant's death broke out on January 26.

Here's a sample lyric: "Sa ngalan ng pangalan karangalan iiwanan / respeto hanggang sa kamatayan / mentalidad ng Mamba."

Several athletes and teams are coming out in force to pay tribute to the Los Angeles Lakers on his birthday. Bryant would have been 42 on August 23.

In 2017, the artist released a track called "Mala Abueva," inspired by Calvin Abueva, and his 2018 track "Teritoryo," which was nominated for a Wish Bus Award and an Awit Award.
