Ben&Ben reenacts scenes from well-loved PH films

In a recent episode on their YouTube channel, nine-member indie folk/folk-pop band Ben&Ben re-enacted some of their "favorite" Pinoy movie scenes.

Among the titles they picked were Cathy Garcia-Molina's "One More Chance," "Four Sisters And A Wedding," and "Hello, Love, Goodbye;" Antoinette Jadaone's "That Thing Called Tadhana," and "Beauty In A Bottle;" and Chito S. Roño's "Bata, Bata Paano Ka Ginawa."

They thanked the producers of the movies -- Star Cinema and Viva Films -- for allowing them to use the footage for comparisonpurposes.

As Ben&Ben members Paolo Benjamin, Miguel Benjamin, Agnes Roma, Patricia Lasagne, Jam Villanueva, Andrew de Pano, KeiferCabugao, PochBarretto, and Toni Munoz role played each scene, the original clips also played in the foreground.

In the middle of the video, Paolo extended their gratitude to people working in showbiz, whether they do it in front of or behind the cameras.

"'Yung movies for us malakingbagay din siya, nang journey naming.Kasi maraming songs narinnamin ang nagamitsamga movies," he started, noting how they have a "mad respect" for all the artists in the film industry. 

"From the directors, cinematographers, everyone in the production crew and the actors and actresses, scriptwriters. Everyone, thank you very much for keeping Philippine film alive."

In 2018, Ben&Ben released "Susi" used in the movie "Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral;" and "Maybe The Night" for the movie "Exes Baggage."
