Phoenix Super LPG will be missing some of its players for the resumption of practice on Wednesday at the Upper Deck Sports Center in Ortigas.

Coach Louie Alas said Jason Perkins, Jake Pascual and Jansen Rios were excused from joining the resumption of training for various reasons after all members of the Fuel Masters tested negative for COVID-19.

The Fuel Masters were among the nine PBA teams that underwent swab tests last week at the Makati Medical Center.

Perkins’ wife is currently pregnant while Rios is likewise taking precaution measures since he has senior citizens at home.

Pascual, on the other hand, continues to undergo rehab for an ACL injury he suffered last February.

The rest of the team, including the suspended Calvin Abueva, will participate in the training sessions which will be held under strict health measures.
