Pokwang confirms all is well now between her and Baninay after COVID-19 scare brouhaha

Comedy actress Pokwang confirms she has "calmed down" now that vlogger Baninay reached out and asked for her forgiveness over the COVID-19 scare the latter gave people, allegedly for "clickbait."

"Naunawaan niya ang nararamdaman ko bilang nanay so di natin dapat tambayan ang mga ganyan," she said at the press conference for her latest show on TV5, "Fill In the Blanks."

Earlier, the 23-year-old former "Pinoy Big Brother" star -- who tested positive from COVID-19 -- also said there's no more bad blood between them.

"We already talked and settled things in private. I apologized for causing fear and ngayon po ay clear na lahat. Again, sorry po. Wala po talaga akong intensyon na masama," she wrote.

Recall that Pokwang panicked over Baninay's vlog titled "I Am Positive." She fumed upon learning it was a late upload and that the vlogger had already tested negative.

"Late upload naman yan at negative naman result mo last aug.2!!" Pokwang's tweet read. "Wag mong gawin pagkaperahan yang nag ka covid ka may nalalaman kapa na update update sa mga ganap sayo e negative na nga diba? nangdamay kapa ng nerbios at gastos!"

In another post, Pokwang wrote: "Hoy Baninay wag mong pagkaperahan yang clickbait mo para lang dumami views mo! negative kana diba last aug.2?? july 21 ka nagkasakit tapos aug.2 ok kana negative kana! Aug.16 naglaro ka samin nagpanic kmi kanina dahil di mo sinabi sa vlog mo na late upload nayan! pa trending ka!"


Though the title seemingly implied that the vlogger is currently experiencing the COVID-19, in the video she shared that she just wanted to do a "diary" of her journey as "baka meron kayong matutunan o meron akong matutunan na ma-share ko sa inyo."


As of writing, the title has been changed to "I Tested Positive."

In the middle of the clip, Baninay shared the day is "July 21st;" and she wrote that Bacoor Health Center did contract tracing to people whom they encountered for the past two weeks and all were informed to do COVID-19 testing and home quarantine.

Pokwang advised the vlogger to be more "responsible."

"Sa ganitong panahon maging responsableng vlogger naman! hindi yung puro pera pera lang... wag ganon!!!!!," her tweet read, adding online content creators should put a disclaimer in such videos.
