Lakers star LeBron James flexes new 'Titan' shoes

LeBron James debuted the latest Philippine-inspired colorway of his Nike signature shoes during the Los Angeles Lakers’ 107-92 loss to the defending NBA champion Toronto Raptors on Saturday at Disney World in Orlando.

James had 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for the Lakers while sporting the red LeBron 17 low colorway dubbed as “Titan,” which was made after a collaboration between the famous shoe brand and the local store.

His choice of footwear came a day after the shoes which featured logos and symbols “representing moments in Titan’s 10-year history” and the words “Para sa Kadakilaan” (Filipino translation of James’ “Strive for Greatness” motto) were made available in stores.

It was the fourth LeBron colorway shoe that featured the Philippines.

Three versions of a blue colorway named “Agimat” were made for LeBron 15 in 2017, LeBron Soldier 12 in 2018 and LeBron 16 low in 2019.

James wore the LeBron 15 version of the Agimat while playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers in a 2017 NBA Eastern Conference semifinal game against the Raptors.

He also used the LeBron 16 low in a preseason contest opposite the Golden State Warriors last October.
