Celebrated dancer marks milestone

Anna Halili-Cruz Bueno

World-class dancer Anna Halili-Cruz Bueno celebrates her birthday on Aug. 5.

Anna is a world-class achiever as dance artist; Bisig Kabataan Youth Advocate & Leadership Awardee; Global Excellence Award in the Performing Arts; Parangal ng Bayan Awardee; Gold Medalist, American Academy of Ballet, New York; 2017 Netizens Choice Modern Day Renaissance Woman; 2017 Outstanding Achiever as administrative director.

Anna, who took up Bachelor of Science in Business Management at the University of Asia (2003) and the Pacific where he also took up her Masters, is dance teacher, costume designer, choreographer and manager/administrator of the Halili-Cruz School of Ballet. She took after her parents, Ms. Shirley Halili-Cruz, and the late Eric Cruz, in being hardworking, disciplined and highly respected in their fields of endeavor.

Anna was married to Daryl Bueno in a beautiful church, and they held their grand wedding reception in a beach. Their families and all their guests stayed in the beach for three days!
