Former Star Magic talent Eduard Banez will soon return to the Philippines to give show business another try.
“May hinihintay lang ako na kailangan kong ayusin na mga bagay,” said he who is currently based in the US. “Siyempre, gusto ko pa rin sa bayan natin.”
Though saddened that his former network, ABS-CBN, is going through rough times, his heart is filled with gratitude too.
“Marami akong natutunan when I was with them. Sila ang nag-train sa akin pagdating sa acting, singing, hosting.”
Looking back, he realized his acting career would likely have been rosier if he had stayed in the Philippines longer.
“Lahat naman kami nabigyan ng break,” Eduard said. “Hindi ko lang nabigyan ng focus pagdating sa career.”
While abroad, Eduard has been trying to make a breakthrough in Hollywood. No, he is not daunted by the task at all.
“Marami rin namang nagsimula sa Hollywood na galing sa ibaba, walang-wala, pero ngayon ay nasa top of the world na,” he said.
In the meantime, his plans to produce and bring Sia of “Chandelier” fame to the Philippines remain on hold due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
