Catriona Gray named ambassador for PH textiles

Catriona Gray has new task to fulfill as ambassador of Philippines' One Town One Product (OTOP) Program.


Through the initiative, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) will bring attention to the Modernong Obra Disenyong Atin (MODA).


Part of Catriona's job is to promote Philippine textiles and modern designs, and collaborating with local designers to promote entrepreneurship and help the weaver communities expand their market.


Catriona promoted Philippine textiles during the Miss Universe 2018 pageant, where she wore pieces made by Filipino fashion designers.
