Stars got Ace up their sleeves

“Launching a business during the time of pandemic is risky… but with faith and hardwork, anything is possible.”

This is what Philippine lead for Ace, Frank Briones, said just as the biggest stars in the pageant scene, entertainment, society and sports aligned last June 30 for the virtual launch of the first and only Celebrity Shoutout Digital Platform in Southeast Asia.

Fans can now log in online via www.ace.video to request for Birthday Greetings, Words of Inspiration and Tips from their favorite stars; include the parameters of the message they want either for themselves or for a friend; and receive the said shoutout on their email within five days. Fans may even opt to post it on their own social media pages.

“Now that most of us are still on lockdown, and most pageants, local movies, TV series, sporting events are temporarily put on hold, this is one way for fans to still engage with their idols” said Dene Schonknecht, CEO of Ace Entertainment Holdings based in Singapore.

Ace Video is also present in countries like Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. Some of the regional stars in its roster include Allan Wu from Singapore (“Amazing Race Asia”), Max Loong from Malaysia (“The Voice Switzerland”), and Cindy Bishop from Thailand (“Asia’s Next Top Model”).

In the Philippines, these are but some of the hundreds of stars officially onboard: Pia Wurtzbach, KC Concepcion, Shamcey Supsup, Ruffa Gutierrez, Daniel Matsunaga, and Marco Gumabao.
