Calling all female entrepreneurs!

Be part of the 2021 edition of the Cartier Women’s Initiative.

Since 2006, Cartier, in partnership with INSEAD Business School, has been aiming to drive change by empowering women entrepreneurs. The mission of the Cartier Women’s Initiative is to shine a light on these ladies and provide them with the necessary financial, social, and human capital support to grow their businesses and build their leadership skills.

The annual international entrepreneurship program is open to women-run and women-owned businesses, from any country and sector, that aim to have a strong and sustainable social and/or environmental impact. The program has accompanied 240 promising female entrepreneurs hailing from 56 different countries, and awarded over $3 million to support their businesses.

In order to further increase the program’s impact and relevance, starting from the 2021 edition, three more women entrepreneurs will be given recognition on top of the seven existing regional awards. Cartier Women’s Initiative has launched the Science and Technology Pioneer Award, a new thematic category to support businesswomen at the forefront of scientific and technological innovation.

Each of the eight laureates will be awarded with a $100,000 grant; whereas each of the second and third runners-up will receive $30,000. Finally, the eight laureates and 16 finalists will all receive support on strategic financial thinking, one-on-one strategy mentoring, media visibility, and international networking opportunities, as well as a chance to join an INSEAD executive education program on scaling social impact.

The call for applications for the 2021 edition of the Cartier Women’s Initiative will end on July 31 at 2 p.m. (CEST).
