After luxury controversy, Jinkee Pacquiao and kids ride 'kariton'

It’s not all Rolex watches and Hermes bikes for Jinkee Pacquiao, no, Ma’am.

Even now, at times, she and her kids opt to ride in style aboard a…“kariton.”

One of her most recent posts on Instagram showed exactly that. The shots were taken in Kitagas, Katubao Kiamba, Sarangani during a recent visit.

"Ang "kariton" (bow). Nagpapasalamat ako sa Panginoon na nakabalik ulit ako sa lugar kung saan kami nakatira nung bata pa ako, kung saan ako lumaki at nag aral ng elementary,” she wrote.

The wife of Senator Manny Pacquiao recalled the days she and her father would go to the farm borne by a kariton.

"Ang saya saya lang balikan ang nakaraan kung saan sumasakay kami ng kariton noon," Jinkee wrote. "Sinasama kami noon papunta sa bukid sa niyugan ng tatay ko sakay ng kariton at ngayon masaya ako na ma-experience ulit na sumakay kasama ang mga anak ko."

Many of her followers cheered Jinkee on. They pointed out that way before her recent controversy, she was posting photos that show another side of her, away from glitz and glamour of being rich and famous.

Others speculated the posts are Jinkee’s indirect way of addressing the issue.

To date, her lips are sealed except to say she will be uploading videos of the experience on her YouTube channel.
