Ai Ai delas Alas is alive and well and NOT “killed in an ambush” as one rumourmonger would like people to believe.
“Ito po ay fake news…AKO AY BUHAY,” Aiai wrote on Instagram few hours after the malicious item proliferated on Facebook.
She even joked: “Did they check the shape of the face of the woman that was killed in the ambush? Maybe it was (a case of) mistaken identity.”
What’s true is that another Kapuso comedian is in critical condition in the hospital as of press time. Kim Idol (real name Michael Argente) fell unconscious at Philippine Arena last week while serving his Iglesia ni Kristo brethrens reported to have COVID-19.
Kim’s mother revealed to the public that his son does not have the virus.
“My son has brain arteriovenous malformation (AVM),” she said, just as Kim, himself, talked about in an interview on “Startalk” in 2015.
AVM is a rare medical condition characterized by a tangle of abnormal blood vessels connecting arteries and veins in the brain disrupting oxygen flow.
Kim’s colleagues, including Ate Gay, Super Tekla, Philip Lazaro and Teri Aunor, have been asking fans to join them in prayer for the former.
“Ipagdasal po natin ang aming kaibigan. Critical ang lagay ni Kim Idol. Diyos ko, iligtas niyo si Kim Idol sa sitwasyon niya ngayon,” Super Tekla wrote on Facebook few days ago.
Ate Gay posted a personal message to his friend to wake up: “Kim Idol, bakla ka! May Iceland pa tayo sa September kaya gumising ka na…”
I’d also like to ask my readers to pray for Kim. May the Lord grant him clean bill of health.
