Carmona, Cavite records 15th COVID-19 case

By Carla Bauto Deña CARMONA, Cavite - The municipal government here recorded the town’s 15th confirmed case of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on June 13, Saturday. The patient, with code C-P15, was a 30-year-old male who resides in a subdivision in Barangay Bancal. Though asymptomatic, he has been admitted at a private hospital. According to the initial investigation by the Municipal Health Office (MHO), he had close contact with a COVID-19 patient from the neighboring city of Biñan, Laguna, where he works as a maintenance technician. The patient underwent a swab test on June 5, and his results were forwarded to the MHO on June 13. Aside from C-P15, the first class municipality has five active COVID-19 cases, one in strict home isolation and the other four in isolation facilities. Carmona has recorded nine recoveries, and no mortality from the disease.
