PAL cancels special flights

Philippine Airlines (PAL) cancelled its special passenger flights from the USA bound for Manila, departing from May 4 up to May 8, after the government closed all of the country's international arrival facilities at all Philippine airports for a week to prevent a second wave of COVID-19 infection. "If you are previously booked on any of the canceled flights, we will endeavor to rebook you to another special flight operating after the airport closure period. All such flights are subject to government approvals," the airline said in a statement issued this Sunday. (Emmie V. Abadilla)
