Manticao Municipal Police Station Chief Lt. Chance Ramirez identified the victims as Luciano Loresca, 70, and daughter Elvie Bagares Floresca, 40.
The three others who suffered minor injuries were aged eight, 10 and 13.
The suspect was identified as Vivina Bagares Floresca, 70 years old. She was positively identified by her grandchildren who did the crime.
Accordingly, the suspect suffered memory lapses.
Inside the detention cell, Vivina said she was being imprisoned by the police because she iwascrazy. But she said she was not, saying that she was just praying.
She confirmed she did the crime, but said that it was the devil who killed her daughter and husband.
Another daughter Loida Loresca Abragan related that when she was five years old, her mother got sick following the death of her sister. She was so depressed, she talked by herself and sung religious songs.
She was brought to a hospital and went home well, until this time when her brother, who was close to her died on May 25 due to sickness.
Vivina did not have enough sleep and didn't eat well, said Loida.
"Mga aswang man ang kanyang bukambibig, na pinatay daw, tinaga niya si Inday kasi nahawaan daw umano pagka aswang, iba man ang kanyang pinagsasabi", Loida added.
Vivina is facing charges of parricide.
