Magalang, Pampanga – Police seized boxes containing alcoholic beverages were seized from riders of a New Clark City Capas ambulance at Barangay San Roque control point at about four o’clock in the afternoon, Wednesday (May 13).

On board the ambulance were driver James Daniel Laxamana Dancel a 32 year-old medic, resident of Sto Domingo 2nd, Capas and his passenger John Raven Yamson Quizon, 23 year-old mechanic and resident of Dolores Capas Tarlac.
The driver of the ambulance with plate number MS5915 reportedly ignored PNP personnel manning the control point and proceeded continuously heading toward north. The action resulted in flagging down the vehicle for an inspection.
Inspection led to the view of boxes containing numerous alcoholic beverages and confiscation of a 40 caliber pistol with a magazine loaded with ten ammos.
Suspects will face charges for alleged violation of RA 11332 (Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of Public Health Concern Act); Article 151 of the Revised Penal Code (RPC); resistance and disobedience to a person in authority; RA 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act; and Municipal Executive Order No. 4 in relation to the liquor ban.
Both suspects are now in custody at the Magalang police station.
