Amid reports of shortages of personal protective equipment (PPE) in hospitals, a fashion designer in Iloilo has crafted "Money Heist"-inspired PPE hazmat suits.
Ram Silva posted photos of his creations worn by the frontliners at the Western Visayas Medical Center in Iloilo City.
According to the designer, he just wanted to help in producing PPEs to spread positivity in the fight against the pandemic.
Silva so far distributed over 100 waterproof hazmat suits. A further 500 suits will be delivered to other hospitals in coming days.
"Money Heist" is a Spanish television crime drama series streaming on Netflix.
Aside from "Money Heist"-inspired suits, other designers have also designed suits inspired by "Power Rangers", "Teletubbies", and "Star Wars."
