In Photos: All the souvenirs you can buy at the official Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics Store

Famous for outlet stores, futuristic exhibits, and of course the Unicorn Gundam at Diver City, Odaiba has become synonymous with the future of Tokyo innovation. Because the Tokyo 2020 Olympics theme is “Discover Tomorrow,” it made perfect sense to locate the store where you can buy merch at the Aqua City Mall, Odaiba.

Similar to most stores that cater to fans of Japanese pop-culture such as the Nintendo Store and the Pokemon Center, the Olympics pop-up is divided into sections with staple offerings of clear folders, notepads, pens, t-shirts, keychains, bags featuring the many anime ambassadors of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics including Goku from Dragonball Z, Naruto, Astro Boy, Monkey D. Luffy, Sailor Moon, among others.

The store also sells Olympics-branded sports accessories including tennis balls, golf bags, uniforms for martial arts. Nintendo’s Mario and Sonic also take center stage with the 6th edition of the Mario & Sonic franchise with the longest game title ever -- Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. It’s essentially a series of sporting mini games that you can play solo or with friends. Alternatively, there’s also a more “serious” official Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
