Department of Tourism hosted a dry-run of the Pasig River cruise to Intramuros on Wednesday, Feb. 5, to showcase a different side of Metro Manila. DOT Sec. Berna Romulo-Puyat led a group of leisure travelers including Ben Chan, Miguel Pastor, Vicki Belo, Hayden Kho, Scarlet Snow Belo, Cristalle Belo, Anton San Diego, and Manila Bulletin President Dr. Emilio Yap III to see the cityscape of Mandaluyong, Makati, and Manila from the river. The cruise from Guadalupe to Escolta station offers an amazing view of graffiti arts along the banks, old and new buildings including Malacañang Palace, steel and concrete bridges like Jones Bridge, and wild birds sightings, best enjoyed with the sunset as the backdrop. Manila mayor Isko Moreno welcomed the group in Escolta station and led them to Intramuros via Tranvia and e-trikes, showing the beauty of Intramuros at night. (MANILA BULLETIN)
