Taiwan is also under nCov-related temporary travel ban, DOH exec says

By Betheena Unite Taiwan is actually part of the temporary travel ban enforced on China in relation to the 2019-novel coronavirus acute respiratory disease (nCoV ARD), the Department of Health said Monday amid earlier confusion. So since we have a temporary travel restriction and ban in China then Taiwan is included,” Domingo said, clearing the confusion prevailing the last few days. “I think there is even a presidential proclamation and as far as the WHO community is concerned, Taiwan is part of China,” Domingo added. He said the travel ban was fully implemented over the weekend. “Nagkaroon ng confusion noong naunang mga araw, but I think, as you all know, over the weekend we ordered full implementation.” President Duterte recently imposed a temporary travel ban on travelers from China in order to contain the spread of the disease which originated in Wuhan City in the province of Hubei, China.
