Twitter Philippines has announced the most tweeted about K-pop groups and K-pop hashtags in the Philippines in 2020.

K-pop idol group BTS again topped the list for the most tweeted about K-POP groups in the Philippines. BLACKPINK placed second while Seventeen grabbed third place followed by EXO and TWICE, Treasure, TXT, GOT7, ENHYPEN and Stray Kids.

Treasure and ENHYPEN placed in the rankings despite that they only debuted this year. Treasure debuted on Aug. 7 while ENHYPEN’s was on Nov. 30.

“Although concerts were cancelled this year, #KPopTwitter never failed to light up our day like dynamite. This year, @BTS_twt once again topped the list for the Most Tweeted about K-Pop groups and hashtags among Filipino fans,” according to Twitter Philippines.

In 2019, the most tweeted about K-pop groups in the Philippines were BTS, EXO, BLACKPINK, Seventeen, TXT, GOT7, TWICE, Red Velvet, Stray Kids and NCT 127. Red Velvet and NCT 127 were absent from the list this year.

On the other hands, the 2020 most tweeted about K-pop hashtags in the Philippines are #bts, #blackpink, #treasure, #seventeen, #twice, #got7, #exo, #enhypen, #straykids and #nct.

Last year, the top 10 K-pop hashtags in the country were #BTS #BBMasTopSocial, #EXO, #BLACKPINK, #방탄소년단 (BTS’ name in Korean), #TwitterBestFandom, #Jimin, #MGMVOTE, #SoompiAwards and #Twice.
