Ruru Madrid posts heartfelt birthday message

Kapuso star Ruru Madrid posted a heartfelt message for his fans, family and friends in the industry in an Instagram post on December 6.

The "Lolong" star shared his experience as well as his feeling during this challenging time.

"This year has been the most challenging so far para sa lahat and as I celebrated my birthday yesterday, hindi ko mapigilan na magkaroon ng mixed emotions. Somehow, I felt guilty celebrating it with my loved ones knowing na marami din ang nagdanas ng kahirapan sa mga nangyari ngayong taon."

Madrid, 23, ended the post by saying his "wish" and spreading the love for his supporters and family.

"If there is one wish na hihingin ko for my birthday, it will be a better year for everyone. 2020 has taught us numerous lessons and I hope na sana mas pahalagahan natin ang lahat ng bagay na binalewala natin sa mga nagdaang taon. Mahal ko kayo!"

The Instagram post has garnered more than 25,000 likes.
