Ameer Sanchez takes comedy to the next level in 'House Rules'

The beloved Miss Becky is back as Madam Becky in her crazy dormitory in the new sitcom "House Rules" under Oxin Films!

And portraying Madam Becky is Ameer Sanchez who you all love in the BL series "My Day."

"Yes, I am one of the lead actors. First time ko mag lead sa isang sitcom under Oxin Films. Kaabang abang siya dahil ibang-iba ako rito unlike sa 'My Day' as Miss Becky. This time I'm Madam Becky na! Patawa pa rin naman na medyo mataray! Good vibes lang at happy," said Sanchez during an interview.

"House Rules" follows the people in Madam Becky's dormitory and Madam Ely's canteen. The sitcom will be streaming on Oxin Films YouTube Channel this December every Saturday at 9 p.m.

"This is different from 'My Day' series because this is a sitcom. Kaya it's more fun, light lang at good vibes. This pandemic, ito yun pang alis stress or distressing siya. May mga casts pa din naman na nasa 'My Day' na kasama ko rito like Gio Emprese, Red Mendoza, Jamil Bonifacio, Leilani Kate Yalung, at same director Xion Lim. Super love ko dito mga outfit ko, hindi na ako naka-yaya outfit! Madam na madam ako dito," said Sanchez.

Despite having two comic shows in a row, this pageant blogger said that he's not afraid to be typecast as a comedian, he said.

"Isa ito sa challenges ko, pero dahil love ko ang tumawa, ini-enjoy ko na lang siya as in ako ay si Madam Becky talaga. Ang galing ng mga kasama ko like Madam Ely Concord, BNT Aye and Jessica at si Sis Gio - sa kanila ako kumukuha ng inspirasyon at lesson dahil baguhan ako. Super love ko sila dahil mababait sila," Sanchez added. Already, the show has taped 10 episodes with special guests, he said.

Sanchez said he is enjoying his stint as an actor but he remains to be an auditor by heart.

"As always, priority ko ang pagiging auditor ko. Pero if ever man may mga magandang acting projects, cguro paglaanan ko rin ito ng time. I'm open for future projects."

Sanchez said he would be forever grateful to Direk Xion and Sir Carlo Morris Galang who discovered his talent in acting; members of Ameernation Fan Club, for their support; and media friends.
