Song Joong-Ki's 'A Werewolf Boy' premieres on POPTV

POPTV premieres the Tagalized version of the Korean box office hit fantasy-romance movie “A Werewolf Boy,” starring Song Joong-Ki and Park Bo-Young today (December 5).

Joong-Ki, who is popularly known for his roles in “Descendants of the Sun,” “Arthdal Chronicles,” and “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” plays Chul Soo, a feral boy who befriends teenage girl Sun-yi, played by Bo Young (“Abyss,” “Strong Girl Bong-soon,” and “Oh My Ghost”), as the latter stays in their country house for health reasons.

The two become good friends and eventually fall in love. Everything is going just fine between them until Chul Soo inner beast bursts out.

“A Werewolf Boy” is among the Korean movies that POPTV will tagalize this month as part of its December programming.

Aside from this Joong-Ki starrer, POPTV is also set to stream the Tagalized “The Truth Beneath” starring Son Ye-Jin of “Crash Landing on You,” “Thread of Lies” starring Kim Hee-Ae of “World of the Married,” “Finding Mr Destiny” starring Gong Yoo of “Goblin,” and the original and Korean version of “Miss Granny,” which had its Philippine adaptation in 2018 starring Sarah Geronimo.
